Y'know love, there's a lot of theories of soulmates in the world :) A lot that I like and I know you like a few too :) Honestly any of them could be true and no matter what I'd still reach the same conclusion, you and I are soulmates through and through :)
Greeks: I've told you this one before, but you know for the Greeks they originally said all humans we're born with four arms, four legs, basically Siamese twins, well then with all the power that humans (or mortals) possessed allowed them to try and up rise against Mount Olympus (specifically the gods of course, notably Zeus). Obviously Zeus didn't like the uprising and decided to weaken humans by splitting them in two, so each person had their two arms, two legs, like we do now, so in turn every split human is now looking for their other half, or their soulmate. The story isn't really accurate to Greek mythology, but I think it was made by one of the philosophers of that time, I think it's sweet :)
Red String: I know you like this theory too :) Coming from Asia, the red string theory is of course that two people from birth are connected by a red string, and that they red string can stretch forever and can tangle, but no matter what the string will never break, this string of course symbolizes two people destined together as soulmates :)Â
Twin Flames: I believe this theory is from like Hinduism, Buddhism, or at least spiritual religions like that? This theory is pretty similar to the Greeks, but in this case it says that every person is created with one soul, but that soul is then split and placed into two different people, these two people are soulmates and are fated to meet and restore the balance of their souls :)
Past Life: I don't really know if I believe reincarnation in any sense, but I still really like this theory it's like you forged your soulmate, in a previous life you fell in love with someone, and your two souls bonded and now in your current life you've been reincarnated and so has your previous partner, then you're fated to find and fall in love with your previous partner, but in this new life, so you always live every incarnation with your original love.
Eternal: I've heard about eternal soulmates and it basically just applies to all those theories that you and someone else are bonded in a way that you will always meet fall in love and then reincarnate and repeat the process over and over again, and like I said I don't know if I really believe in reincarnation, but if anything I hope this is true, if I got to spend lifetimes over and over with you, then I couldn't imagine how happy that'd make me be, to spend multiple lifetimes with you would be my dream, I love you so much you are the most amazing person I've ever met. <3
